I just graduated with a BA in Fine Arts and an AS in Commercial Art. I currently have my work displayed at the Lakewood Mall in Aberdeen, SD. I am single with three children and one fantastic grandson. I hope that everyone who reads my blog enjoys the stories.
I love how tall this photo feels, makes me feel like an ant. I also really enjoy the color differences between the brilliant greens and the duller fence. Maybe sharpening your photo would give your leafs a crisper feel.
The main element I agree is worm's eye view. The photo has some great contrast and I like how the fence post lines draw the eye upward and climb with the plant. The only suggestion I would have would be to try a different setting to see if you can bring more detail in from the bottom leaves. p.s. I can't find Jack!
This is a great worms eye and even a bit of actual leading lines as well. Both the bean stalk and the lines in the fence post help draw the eye upwards. I would suggest trying out the macro mode on your camera to get the bottom leaves in focus and create a deep Depth of Field.
